How we score markets
Each market gets six structural scores (0–10). Each score blends public indicators with analyst judgement, so the ranking is explainable and repeatable. Structural scores reviewed 24 September 2026; current conditions are scored separately and updated as events change.
| Dimension | Public evidence (weight) | Analyst judgement |
|---|---|---|
| Regulatory | World Bank WGI 2024: average of Regulatory Quality, Rule of Law and Government Effectiveness percentiles (60%) | 40% |
| Political stability | World Bank WGI 2024 Political Stability percentile (60%) | 40% |
| Infrastructure | World Bank Logistics Performance Index 2023 (60%) | 40% |
| Talent | World Bank Human Capital Index 2020 (30%) | 70% (size and depth of the professional talent pool) |
| Foreign investment | Half WGI Regulatory Quality, half 5-year average FDI inflows as % of GDP (50%) | 50% (ownership rules, free zones) |
| Tax | Headline corporate income tax rate, 2025 (50%) | 50% (incentives, treaties, free zones) |
Overall structural score = the average of the six. Risk band: 7.5+ Low, 6.0–7.4 Medium, below 6.0 High. Your personal fit score re-weights the six dimensions by your objective, then adjusts for sector fit, current conditions (by your risk appetite) and your budget.
